What
is an Event?
Event
is simply a session or virtual class that the presenter
can create and invite the attendees to join. In order
to take a live session with attendees, the Presenter
needs to create an event.
How can I create an event?
After successful login,
presenter is shown Events page where he/she can click
on 'Schedule New Event' hyperlink to open the
Event Wizard where user/presenter can input
the Event name and PowerPoint® file (to
be used in that particular event) and Event name.
Is
it necessary to upload PowerPoint® in order to create
an event?
No,
event can be created without uploading the PowerPoint® file.
You just need to enter the Event Name on 'Schedule
New Event' page. While trying to create
an Event, meeting bowl keeps a track of the event
and e-mails you the details of that event. The details
include the Event Name, presenter's URL, attendee's
URL and the URL for the recorded presentation (only
after the session is over) on your e-mail address.
When
I try to run an event it sometimes shows me that
I am disconnected. Why is that?
One
possible reason for this problem is that the name
of the PowerPoint® file that you have
uploaded contains characters (&, Space) not recognized
by system. Rename your PowerPoint® file
without any special characters or spaces and create
a new event to try again.
How
can I invite attendees?
Once you create an event, you will have the option to send invitations to attendees from the meeting bowl application. Just enter the email addresses for the people you wish to invite and enter the text you want to send to your invitees requesting them to attend your meeting.
Can I share any application other than PowerPoint®?
Since
we do not have a desktop sharing facility in meeting
bowl, you cannot share other applications.
Is there any limit to the number of attendees that
I can invite?
There is a 19 attendee limit per event.
What kind of documentation is available for me as a
presenter?
On
our support page, we have a Presenter's
User Guide as a PDF document.
Can I give presentation control to an attendee?
Yes,
as a presenter you can pass on the control to any
attendee using meeting bowl transfer control feature.
When I use the Mac Operating System, why am I unable to hear my audience properly?
While using a Mac you must set a minimum audio quality of '11' otherwise the audio will not be heard properly.
